Bespoke Joinery & Carpentry
For work that needs to fit a particular room or solve a practical problem, Nick designs and makes joinery to suit the property. This includes fitted furniture, shelving, doors, cabinetry and other one-off timber work.
Kitchen Installation
Nick fits kitchen cabinets, worktops, panels, doors and timber finishing for homes in and around Scarborough. The scope is agreed from your kitchen plan and the condition of the room before work begins.
Home Improvements & Renovations
Renovation work can include practical repairs, new joinery, fitted features and alterations to an existing room. Nick will look at the property, discuss what is achievable and set out the carpentry included in the quote.
Custom Staircases
Nick builds and renovates staircases, including replacement handrails, spindles, newel posts and balustrades. Timber and detailing can be selected to work with the age and style of the property.
Timber Windows & Doors
Timber windows and doors can be made for unusual openings or to match existing details. Nick undertakes replacement and new fitting work, with the design, finish and hardware agreed for the property.
Loft & Garage Conversions
Nick carries out the carpentry and joinery involved in converting lofts, attics and garages. Work can include floors, stairs, storage and finishing, subject to the structure, design and any approvals required.
Fitted Wardrobes & Storage Solutions
Made-to-measure wardrobes and cupboards can use alcoves, sloping ceilings and other spaces where standard furniture will not fit. Internal layouts are planned around the storage you actually need.
Flooring & Wall Panelling
Nick fits solid timber, engineered wood and laminate flooring, along with traditional and contemporary wall panelling. Preparation, materials and detailing are discussed for the individual room.
